ASF Level-1 squash coaching course concludes
KARACHI: Khalid Atlas Khan organised an ASF Level-1 squash coaching course in Islamabad from May 27-30.
There were 15 participants, 12 male and three female, from Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
The participants learnt about the latest development in squash, modern training style, modern teaching style, fitness training, and injury prevention.
“I am very thankful to Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) for giving me an opportunity to conduct a Level-1 coaching course in the country,” said Khalid, an ASF Qualified Level-II squash coach.
“I am also very thankful to Fahim Gul who assessed me in the course,” added Khalid, who is also WSF’s qualified Level-1 squash coach and WSF & ASF certified Level-1 squash tutor.
He said that he had been given an assignment by ASF to conduct a Level-1 coaching course in Pakistan to become ASF/WSF qualified instructor.
He said the course would enable players to give better performances at national and international levels. “It is my dream to see Pakistan squash back on top,” said Khalid.
