Commissioner briefed on Nankana projects
LAHORE:Commissioner Lahore Division Zaid bin Maqsood visited Nankana Sahib on Monday where he chaired a briefing session regarding Chief Minister Punjab initiatives.
Commissioner Lahore also visited Gurdwara Janam Asthan and met with the Sikh administrators. He was also given a detailed briefing regarding the arrangements of Baba Guru Nanak's 555th birthday celebrations. In the briefing, it was revealed that the birthday celebrations will be held from November 14 to 16, 2024.
The commissioner said that a large number of Sikh yatrees from several countries will participate in the celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak's birthday. In Nakana Sahib, Commissioner Lahore also took a briefing on the implementation of urban development programmes. DC Nankana M Taslim Akhtar Rao, DPO Syed Nadeem Abbas gave the briefing while all the administrative officers attended the meeting.
