Man dies after falling off roof of his house

A 27-year-old man died after mysteriously falling off the roof of his house in the Tibbi City area on Thursday. According to family members, Atiqur Rahman fell off the roof and died instantly. Police have yet to determine whether the fall was a case of murder, suicide, or an accident. Police shifted the body to the mortuary.

Six die in road accidents in 24 hours

The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,310 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, six people died, whereas 1,416 were injured. Out of these, 609 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 807 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.

15 injured as bus overturns

Some 15 people suffered injuries when a factory bus overturned in the Kahna area on Thursday. According to an Edhi spokesperson, the accident occurred near LDA Road owing of fast speed of the vehicle and eight passengers sustained minor injuries.

Kashif, Bilal, Karamat, Rafique, Rizwan, Munir Ashiq, and Zameer Saeed suffered critical injuries and were rushed to a hospital.

Cop suspended over not paying vendor

The DIG (Operations) Lahore Thursday suspended a head constable on charges of taking a bottle of honey from a roadside vendor without paying him. In a video circulating on social media Rashid was shown taking a bottle of honey from a roadside vendor without paying him the price of the commodity. The DIG suspended the cop.
