Labour federation condemns killing of coal mine workers

Islamabad: President of the National Labour Federation (NLF), Shamsur Rehman Swati has condemned and protested martyrdom of 20 workers in a terrorists' attack on Duki coal mine in Balochistan.
In a statement, the NLF President demanded of the Federal and Provincial Governments to ensure security of workers community particularly those working at coal mines. He said that previously, the workers left site of coal mine after a terror act during Ramazan and they returned to work on assurance of NLF President Duki. But, he regretted that again a tragic incident took which claimed lives of 20 workers and over one dozen workers were injured. He also demanded due compensation for families of martyred and injured workers.
