Drip-irrigated orchard inaugurated

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Sikanadar Hayat Khan Bosan on Monday inaugurated a PARC high density grafted orchard irrigated by drip irrigation system and Senator Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah inaugurated bioremediation system to clean wastewater of agriculture land in Umerkot.
Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) Chairman Dr Nadeem Amjad said the government is focusing to develop remote areas and Umerkot is one of them.
Former senior PARC scientist Dr Mubarik Ahmad said it’s all about the vision of former Chairman PARC Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad and leadership of Director of the Institute.
