General Campbell calls on COAS

RAWALPINDI: General John F Campbell, Commander Resolute Support US Forces in Afghanistan, called COAS General Raheel Sharif on Thursday. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including coordination along the Pak-Afghan border and security situation in Afghanistan were discussed, the ISPR said.
Meanwhile, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Myanmar, called on General Rashad Mahmood, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC). Both the dignitaries discussed matters related to professional interest and mutual cooperation between the two armed forces. While being briefed on security perspective of Pakistan, the visiting dignitary appreciated the professionalism and sacrifices rendered by the armed forces of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.General Min is heading a high powered delegation.
