Police athletes win six medals in Karate C’ship

LAHORE:Pakistan Police athletes achieved remarkable success by securing six medals in the National Inter-Departmental Karate Championship.
Around 200 male and female athletes from Pakistan Army, Wapda, Railways, Higher Education Commission and the Pakistan Police teams participated in the championship played at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall from Oct 5 to 9. The Pakistan Police team excelled, winning three silver and three bronze medals. Additional IG Operations Punjab Shehzada Sultan announced that the medal winning athletes would be rewarded with cash prizes and CC-1 certificates.
