Two killed over old enmity

LAHORE: Two people, including an elderly man, were killed in separate incidents here. At Chak 563/GB under the jurisdiction of Bachiana police, Ali Raza Khichi and his accomplices allegedly beat 90-year-old Muhammad Boota Bajwa to death over a canal water dispute. The accused had also killed the victim’s son 25 years ago, a case that had been settled.
In a separate incident, at Chak 274/JB under Thikriwala police limits, three assailants reportedly called 55-year-old Shafqat out of the village and shot him dead. Police have registered separate cases.
