IGP orders resolving cops’ concerns
LAHORE: The Inspector General Police (IGP), Punjab, Wednesday met with police employees at the Central Police Office and issued orders to address their concerns. The IGP asked the DIG Telecommunication Punjab to expedite promotion requests for Constables Muzaffar Ali, Muhammad Azim, and Syed Asif Hussain.
He also directed the AIG Admin to assist with the family claim of the late ASI Muhammad Mumtaz for his son's recruitment as a constable. The retirement request of Constable Muhammad Afzal on medical grounds and his son's recruitment were forwarded to the CCPO Lahore for action. Additionally, the AIG Finance was tasked with following up on the pension request of retired SP M Baqar, and the DIG Welfare was asked to assist with the treatment of Driver cop Shamshad Ali's four ill children.
