Body of teenage boy who drowned in sea recovered

The body of an 18-year-old boy was recovered on Monday after he drowned while bathing at sea near China Port in Shirin Jinnah Colony.
Waqas Khan was a student from Bajaur Agency who had been living in Karachi. According to his family, he drowned on Sunday evening. Rescuers initially searched for him but suspended their efforts as darkness fell. However, volunteers from Rescue 1122 resumed the search late Sunday night and successfully recovered his body. The deceased was handed over to his family for burial.
