Social worker shot dead in Orakzai

KALAYA: Unidentified armed assailants shot dead a social worker in Mamozai area of Orakzai district on Sunday.

The attackers managed to escape after the incident. According to SDPO Muhammad Rahim, the social worker, Razi Khan, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in front of his house in Mamozai. He said the police were investigating the case.

It may be mentioned here that Razi Khan was the founder of the Mamozai Youth Committee and a prominent social worker of the area. The local community has expressed grief and outrage over his killing, demanding the immediate arrest of the culprits.
