MULTAN: The National Accountability Bureau on Thursday arrested a Bahawalpur real estate developer on a charge of establishing an illegal housing colony.
The NAB officials produced accused Rana Shahid Latif before an accountability court, which granted his 15-day physical remand.
The accused had established an illegal housing society at Mauza Hootwala, Bahawalpur, and disappeared after collecting money from the citizens. A majority of residents of Ahmadpur Sharqiya had booked plots in the society.
