Food outlets sealed
LAHORE
Punjab Food Authority (PFA) intensified its campaign against adulterated and sub standard food and its manufacturers and sealed different businesses on Thursday.
Officials said PFA’s Samanabad Town team sealed distribution network of Eato Snaks and Al-Sheikh Juice Corner for dirty and unhygienic premises, absence of medical certificates of workers, use of rotten vegetables and other violations.
Data Town team sealed manufacturing units of Riaz Sweets, Bismillah Milk Shop and Kala Gujjar Milk Shop for different violations. The Team of Allama Iqbal Town sealed Premier Drinking Water for using unwashed bottles as well as the sample taken from this shop earlier was also failed. The team of Ravi Town issued warning notices to Malik Munawar Sweets, Akram Sweets and Malik Hotel for different violations while teams of Wahgah Town and Nishter Town issued warning notices to Hanif Hotel, Mashallah Hotel, Anam Bakery and Alshifa Foods for various violations.
