Islamabad: A high-profile delegation of parliamentarians visited schools across Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) on Thursday, commending the transformative efforts led by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFePT). The visit highlighted the ongoing educational reforms that are reshaping the landscape of public schooling in the region.
During the visit, the parliamentarians expressed admiration for several groundbreaking initiatives aimed at enhancing student learning and development. These initiatives include the establishment of state-of-the-art IT labs, foreign language programs, SMART classrooms, and comprehensive school meal plans. In addition, mind games and e-Rozgar schemes were praised for their role in promoting critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills among students.
Furthermore, the delegates were impressed with the newly installed football courts, well-stocked libraries, and the Tech Fellows program, which provides advanced training for students in emerging technologies. The team lauded the Ministry’s commitment to fostering a holistic and future-ready educational environment.
In their closing remarks, the parliamentarians encouraged the Minister of Education and Secretary Education to sustain and expand these initiatives, noting their profound impact on the quality of education and student success across ICT schools.
