Man responsible for attack on Javed Butt identified

LAHORE:Police investigation teams have identified the individual responsible for the attack on Javed Butt, the brother-in-law of Teefi Butt.

According to police sources, the investigators tracked down the shooter by tracing the rickshaw involved in the incident. The suspect was identified as Azhar, a resident of Sant Nagar Islampura. It has been determined that Azhar had rented the rickshaw from Wajiha-ul-Hassan, a resident of Garhi Shahu. Azhar typically parked the rickshaw at a stand in Sanda area. The rickshaw was removed from the stand two days prior to the attack on Javed Butt. Police have conducted raids at various locations in a bid to trace and apprehend Azhar.
