Aisam delays departure to Barbados

ISLAMABAD: Aisamul Haq who is suffering from typhoid has delayed his departure to Barbados for the Davis Cup tie to be held on Saturday and Sunday next.

Aisam who has pulled out of the doubles event at the Khawar Hyat Memorial was diagnosed with typhoid.”

I am taking the required rest and medication to get in a better shape.

Depending on my health I will decide in a few days time whether I will be in a position to take the trip,” he said.

All other members of the squad have left Islamabad for Barbados en route to the UK.
