Karachi:
The Sindh Home Department has imposed a ban on protests, demonstrations, rallies and assembly of more than five persons at places in the Karachi Division which are declared as red zones, for a period of 90 days with immediate effect, under Section 144.
The areas declared as Red Zone are the Sindh Governor’s House, Chief Minister’s House, Assembly Building, Sindh Secretariat (exterior area) with limits towards East from Hoshang Chowk to Fawara Chowk to Deen Muhammad Wafai Road to Sidco Centre to Sabir Baig Shaheed Road Corner Coast Guard Mess to Sir Ghulam Hussain Hidayatullah Road to PSO Petrol Pump. Similarly towards north PSO Petrol Pump to Shahrah-e-Liaquat to Fresco Chowk; towards West from Fresco Chowk to Muhammad Bin Qasim Road to DJ Chowrangi to Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road to Shaheen Complex to Khajoor Chowk to PIDC Chowk to 16-D Bungalow to Hoshang Chowk via Clear Mound Road.
Furthermore, Bilawal House (exterior) from East towards Each View Round about (Block -4) to Corner Bagh-e-Rustam via ATC Court Road; from North towards Corner Bagh-e-Rustam to Bilawal Chowrangi via Shah Ghazi Road; from West towards Bilawal Chowrangi to Ali Baba Chowrangi via Khayaban-e-Saadi and from South towards Ali Baba Chowrangi to Beach View Park.
