Most wanted human smuggler arrested

LAHORE:The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle has arrested a wanted human smuggler listed in Red Book, according to an FIA spokesman.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Riaz Khan. The most wanted smuggler, Muhammad Akbar, was apprehended in Lahore. More than seven cases were registered against accused Muhammad Akbar. He is accused of deceiving citizens by promising them employment abroad and extorting millions of rupees, according to the FIA spokesman.
Director, FIA Lahore Zone, Sarfaraz Khan Virk has said crackdown against human smugglers will continue. He emphasised that human traffickers are a source of international disgrace for the country.
