LAHORE:Scattered light rain was observed in various City areas here on Wednesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions during the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a low pressure area was approaching southeast Sindh while a shallow westerly wave was present over upper parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower was likely at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, southeastern Sindh, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
Rainfall was recorded at several cities across the country. Wednesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Nokkundi where mercury reached 41°C, while in Lahore, it was 33.4°C and minimum was 23.8°C.
