Two children and a young plumber died on Sunday due to suffocation in a well.
The incident occurred near Fawara Chowk when two children, 10-year-old Talha, son of Asif, and 12-year-old Badar, son of Shoaib, fell in a well while playing.
A 28-year-old plumber, Pervaiz, tried to rescue the children and went inside the well with the help of a rope but the rope broke when he was ascending with the children.
Police said rescue officials arrived at the scene and tried to rescue them but the young man and two children had died by then due to suffocation.
