The rupee made a recovery against the dollar on Tuesday, owing to sufficient availability of the foreign currency to meet demand for import payments, dealers said. The rupee ended at 104.81 to the dollar from the previous day’s closing of 104.85 in the interbank foreign exchange market. The interbank foreign exchange market opened in the range of 104.80 and 104.82. In the open market, buying and selling of the dollar was recorded at 105.50/105.70.
