Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan submitted two applications in the court during the 190 million pound reference hearing.
The petitions were submitted by Imran Khan’s lawyer Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry. A request was made on behalf of Imran Khan to provide dumbbells for exercise in the jail. Another request was to sign a letter for the bank statement from the founder PTI.
On both the petitions, the court directed the jail authorities to implement according to the jail manual, on which the jail authorities refused, stating that the provision of dumbbells was against the jail manual. Jail authorities also stopped Imran Khan’s bank statement documents.
