ISLAMABAD: The Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP), a representative body of the oil and gas sectors in Pakistan, organised a seminar on the topic of “LNG Markets Trends & Analysis” on Monday at the OGDCL House, a statement said.
The objective of the seminar was to provide a valuable platform for all the stakeholders and policymakers, including the government of Pakistan, to discuss and analyse the LNG market dynamics, trends, import challenges and solutions, as LNG remains a very important energy solution for Pakistan, it said.
The seminar was attended by senior officials of the energy community in large numbers.
Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi graced the occasion as the chief guest and enlightened the audience on the significance of LNG in Pakistan and future plans of the government, it added.
