LAHORE:Hot, humid and partly cloudy weather was witnessed on Wednesday while Met office predicted scattered rain with similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
They further warned that heavy downpour may cause urban flooding in low lying areas of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Sialkot, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda and Peshawar while landslides may cause roads closure at the vulnerable hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat and Kashmir during the wet period. They said a low pressure lies in southeast Sindh in lower tropospheric level while monsoon currents from Arabian Sea were penetrating upper/central parts of the country and a westerly wave was also likely to enter upper parts from today (Thursday).
