Entry test for BS Engineering conducted across KP
PESHAWAR: The entry test for admission to BS Engineering programmes in public sector universities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was conducted by the Education Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA), the province’s official testing agency.
The test took place at 12 centers, including Islamabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Mardan, Kohat, DI Khan, and Swat.
To ensure a secure and comfortable testing environment, ETEA implemented strict security measures and selected air-conditioned halls due to the intense heat. Students reported being satisfied with the arrangements and thanked the ETEA administration.
In a bid to enhance transparency, the results were promptly uploaded to the ETEA website within five hours of the test’s conclusion. Modern technology was utilised to upload answer sheets and answer keys, with the latter available two hours after the answer sheets. Students were able to check their results as soon as they reached home.
ETEA stated that 8,500 students participated in the test, adding that for the first time, pre-medical students were also allowed to take the engineering entry test.
