Girls outshine boys in SSC-I examinations

Rawalpindi: Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen, the Rawalpindi Board of Education has announced the results of the Ninth Grade (First Annual) 2024 exams.
The results were declared by the Board Chairman, Muhammad Adnan Khan, and the Controller of Examinations, Tanveer Asghar Awan, in a conference room. A total of 125,715 candidates registered for the Ninth Grade (First Annual) 2024 exams, out of which 123,790 appeared.
Among those who appeared, 61,289 were boys and 62,501 were girls. In these exams, 56,749 candidates passed, while 67,034 failed. Additionally, 1,622 candidates were absent. The overall pass percentage was 45.84%. The success rate for girls was 56.84%, while the success rate for boys was 34.63%.
