Three children among six injured in firing by security guard
LAHORE:Six people, including three children, were injured due to firing by the security guard of a private society in Su-a-Asil, Kahna.
Two security guards Abbas and Ramzan had an exchange of hot words over an issue. Meanwhile, Abbas opened fire, as a result of which, three children identified as Saad, Zayed and Zarnish, two women and another security guard Ramzan were injured. The injured were admitted to hospital. Dolphin team arrested the accused and handed over him to the Kahna police.
Eight die in road accidents in Punjab
The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,218 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, eight people died, whereas 1,276 were injured. Out of these, 519 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 757 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
