Dawat-e-Islami launches tree plantation campaign

PESHAWAR: The Faizan Global Relief Foundation Unit of the Dawat-e-Islami on Thursday launched the tree plantation campaign at the Peshawar Sports Complex.
Director General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abdul Nasir Khan, marked the occasion by planting a sapling. Assistant Director of Sports Nawaz Khan took part in the drive as well.The office-bearers of the Dawat-e-Islami and the students of the Jamia-tul-Madina, seminary run by the Dawat-e-Islami, also planted trees.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Abdul Nasir Khan appreciated the step by the Dawat-e-Islami and exhorted other organisations to follow suit as that was needed to improve the climate.
