Two cops, civilian martyred in Landikotal attack
Police party was patrolling locality when militants attacked: says sources

LANDIKOTAL: Two cops and a civilian were martyred and another two sustained injuries when suspected militants attacked a police patrol in Sadukhel area late Tuesday night, police sources said on Wednesday.
The sources said a police party was patrolling Sadukhel Phattak locality when the militants attacked them.
ASI Alamzeb, ASI Qamandan Afridi, constable Sher Alam, a civilian Naib Shah, and Rehmat Khan were injured in the attack and were transported to the District Headquarters Hospital in Landikotal. ASI Alamzeb, Constable Sher Alam and bystander Naib Shah, son of Ghareeb Shah Khan of Sadukhel, succumbed to injuries at hospital. ASI Qamandan and a bystander Rehmat sustained injuries in the attack.
