PTI central secretariat building sealed
Orders to seal building pasted on building’s main gate bear signatures of area magistrate and director emergency and disaster management MCI
ISLAMABAD: The Municipal Corporation of Islamabad (MCI) Tuesday sealed the building housing the central secretariat of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Sector G-8/4.
The corporation served a notice in the name of PTI Secretariat a day before sealing the premises over the violation of Islamabad Building Standards for Fire Prevention and Life Safety 2010.
The orders to seal the building pasted on the building’s main gate bear signatures of the area magistrate and director emergency and disaster management MCI.
Sources said the MCI staff, assisted by the police, faced no resistance while sealing the building.
It may be pointed out that the PTI spokesman Rauf Hassan was also arrested on Monday from the central secretariat on the charges of running an anti-state digital media campaign.
