PU conducts entrance test for admissions in undergraduate programmes
LAHORE:Punjab University conducted its 2nd entrance test for admissions in undergraduate programmes on Sunday. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood and other officials visited the examination centres.
Dr Mahmood said that more than 32,000 students registered themselves for the entrance test. He said that examination centres were established for the entrance test in 18 cities, including Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Gilgit, Skardu, Dera Ismail Khan and other important cities. He said that around 113 examination centres were established across Pakistan while entrance tests were being conducted in 69 examination centres in Lahore. He said that seven types of entrance tests were being conducted for admissions in various graduate programmes. He said that 25 percent marks for undergraduate admissions are reserved for the entrance test. He said that the result will be announced on July 31, 2024.
