NOWSHERA: The investigation into the murder of journalist Hassan Zaib in the Akbarpura area of Nowshera district has entered a crucial phase as police claim to have achieved clues.
The investigation has revealed details, provided by several suspects in custody. Hassan Zaib was reportedly involved in property dealings, selling items on installments, and various other business transactions.
According to District Police Officer Azhar Khan, the police’s technical team has successfully completed geo-fencing and other related technical work. He said the police were now actively pursuing the arrest of the killers.
Relatives of Hassan Zaib and individuals involved in financial dealings with him have also been interrogated, leading to certain developments in the case.
Several suspects are currently being questioned. Some have mentioned that Hassan Zaib was involved in the business of selling motorcycles and mobile phones on installments, with increased charges for late payments.The police claim they are very close to apprehending the killers. So far, the investigation indicates that Hassan Zaib’s murder was not related to his journalism activities.
