Young woman found dead in Malir

The body of a woman dressed in a school uniform was discovered in Malir’s Khokhrapar area near Al-Shams Hotel in Khokhrapar No 1 in the jurisdiction of the Khokhrapar police station.

The police transferred the body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a postmortem examination.The police investigations showed that the deceased, identified as Faiza, 25, was wearing a school uniform that had been changed by the school two years ago. Authorities noted that the body appeared to be five to six days old.

Local residents informed the police that Faiza was known to frequent the area and was involved in drug use. Faiza was a resident of Malir City. Medical examiners found no signs of violence on her body and initiated contact with her family. While initial suspicions point towards a possible drug overdose, the exact cause of death would be confirmed after the post-mortem report was completed.
