PAFDA, Pink Ribbon join hands to create cancer prevention awareness

LAHORE:Punjab Agriculture Food and Drug Authority (PAFDA) and Pink Ribbon have agreed on collaborative efforts to promote cancer prevention through increased awareness, healthy lifestyle choices, and food safety measures.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in the fight against cancer in Pakistan. Dr Omer Aftab, CEO of Pink Ribbon, met with Dr Talat Naseer, DG of PAFDA, to formalise this initiative.

The meeting highlighted the mutual commitment of both organisations to address the rising incidence of cancer by focusing on preventive measures that include education on healthy living and the importance of food safety.

PAFDA will assist Pink Ribbon for the development of literature on food safety for their nationwide awareness campaigns to educate the public on cancer prevention.
