BISP commended by WB for achieving targets

Islamabad: The World Bank's Implementation Support Mission, led by Senior Social Protection Specialist Amjad Zafar Khan, has praised Pakistan's Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) for successfully achieving all targets set under the Crisis Resilient Social Protection (CRISP) project.
The mission highlighted innovations including enhancements to the Social Registry and Biometric Payment Systems, alongside effective Health and Nutrition Improvements and School Enrolment Incentives. BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid thanked the World Bank for its support, emphasizing the program's vital role in setting benchmarks for global social protection efforts.
