3 women injured as shell hits house in Waziristan

MIRANSHAH: Three women of a family sustained critical injuries when a mortar shell hit their house in Tappi area in Miranshah on Tuesday.
According to police, the house of police constable Ahmad Ali was struck by a mortar shell fired by militants from an unknown direction in Tappi area of Miranshah, the headquarters North Waziristan tribal district.
As a result, three women members of the family sustained serious injuries. The structure was also damaged after it was hit by a mortar shell.The injured women were rushed to the hospital in Miranshah.The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
