FBR collects Rs9.285tr in FY24

ISLAMABAD: The FBR has so far surpassed its revised annual tax collection target with the collection machinery collecting Rs9,285 billion against the assigned target of Rs9,252 billion.
Originally, the FBR was assigned to collect Rs9,415 billion for the current fiscal year. Later, it was revised downward to Rs9,252 billion. Now the FBR has so far collected Rs9,285 billion against the revised target of Rs9,252 billion.
The FBR has collected Rs4,512 billion in the shape of Income Tax, Rs3,096 billion as Sales Tax, Rs576 billion as FED and Rs1,101 billion as Customs Duty in the outgoing fiscal year ending on June 30, 2024.
