Two elderly sisters found dead in Malir
The bodies of two elderly sisters were found on Wednesday night at their home in the Malirarea. SHO Farasat Shah said when police received the information about the bodies of two women in a house near Qadri Bakery in the Khokhrapar area of Malir, they arrived at the scene where many residents had already gathered.
After inspecting the house, police transported the bodies to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The deceased sisters, Rukhsana and Sheer Bano, were between 70 and 72 years old. They were unmarried and taught Quran to children in the neighbourhood.
Neighbours said both the sisters were severely ill and women of the area took care of them. When someone went to give them food on Wednesday night, they found them dead. The SHO said it appeared that the two sisters had died of natural causes, but the exact cause of death would be determined after medical reports.
