Rs8bn for water supply, sanitation

LAHORE:The Punjab government has allocated Rs8 billion for water supply and sanitation for the fiscal year 24-25. As per the Annual Development Plan, Rs8bn were allocated for 340 ongoing schemes, which included eight schemes for Punjab, 127 under the head of Rural Sewerage Drainage, 11 under Rural Water Supply, 38 under Urban Sewerage Supply schemes, 14 for Urban Water Supply Schemes and 142 for 142 District Development Package.
