Islamabad: Roots School System DHA-1, Junior Campus, officially marked the closure for the graduating batch of Grade VI (2023-2024) with a grand annual celebration.
The annual graduation ceremony for Grade 6 was festooned with the colours of diversity as they unfolded throughout history and took in the hues of modern cultures. Current times require us to understand and appreciate the global cultures and the ceremony was a tribute to such an effort along with bidding farewell to our cherished pupils who would now be embarking on a whole new academic journey in high school. The evening entailed tantalizing displays of indigenous and multi-cultural lore and global cultural delights paying homage to the Indus Valley Civilisation, the South American Civilisation, the Greek and Roman Civilisation, the Egyptian Civilisation and the Chinese Civilisation.
The costumes, backdrops, music, historical rhetoric and mesmerizing performance did true justice to the bygone eras. These picturesque displays were punctuated with Pearson Edexcel primary Certification segments hosted for students from grade I till grade V.
The weather as well as the overall ambiance allowed the parents, grandparents and guests to relax and enjoy the broad way show like programme unfolding before their eyes. The entire evening the full of magic, grandeur and wonder, leaving all in attendance fully enthralled and mesmerised. The efforts of the teachers and the unwavering support of the parents was indeed on full display, as the confidence of the students and their full ownership of their event was unveiled and revealed. Roots is extremely proud of its hardworking prodigies who put up fantastic displays of cultural appreciation for the guests.
