Man dies after falling from rooftop
MANSEHRA: A man died after falling from the roof of a mosque in the Darband area on Saturday.
Taj Mohammad Lala, stated to be the caretaker of Madni Masjid, fell from the rooftop and was seriously injured.
Locals rushed him to a health facility in Darband from where doctors referred him to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, Mansehra. Later, the doctors pronounced him dead.
Meanwhile, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl has launched its membership campaign in Battle and its neighbouring localities.
The camp was established at Karakoram Highway where the district general secretary Maulana Nasir Mehmood issued the membership receipts to the party’s activists and workers.
“The membership drive, launched here, would be expanded to other parts of the district,” he said. Maulana Nasir said that the party’s office-bearers would
also stage camps in the rest of the district.
