CBC President inaugurates sweeper machines for cleaning waste, garbage

KARACHI: A machine for cleaning waste from the long coastline of Clifton cantonmnet, compactors for collecting garbage from households, and road sweeper machines for cleaning the main roads and streets inaugurated.

Brigadier Shahid Zia, President of Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC), inaugurated machines for cleaning waste and plastics from the sand, compactors for collecting garbage from every household, and road sweeper machines for cleaning main roads.

Brigadier Shahid Zia stated that to ensure pleasant and clean surroundings for residents of CBC, locally made by engineers and technicians of cbc have developed machines for cleaning waste (plastic, bottles) from the seaview beach. These machines, with a value of millions in the international market, have been developed at an extremely low cost by the CBC administration. Furthermore, for the ease of residents in collecting garbage from residential homes, CBC administration has procured new garbage compactors.

Zaki Haider Rizvi, Cantonment Executive Officer, stated that for the sake of innovation and quality improvement, CBC has added self-driven new road sweeper machines to its fleet for cleaning long stretches of streets in CBC jurisdiction.
