Another application filed against MPA
PESHAWAR: Another application was filed by the officials of the Rahman Baba Grid Station against a member of the provincial assembly and his supporters for stopping them from official work.
A line superintendent Intikhab Alam submitted an application in the Rahman Baba Police Station that one Jamil and others were illegally shifting loads from the grid. He added that when he and the sub-divisional officers stopped them, they attacked them and called the local MPA Fazal Ilahi.
He claimed that several people attacked them and tortured them on the directives of Fazal Ilahi and Jamil. He asked the cops to lodge a case against the two and their supporters and take proper action.
Last week, the Peshawar Electric Supply Company asked police to lodge a case against the same MPA and around 500 of his supporters after they stormed a grid station and took over control of power supply.
