DIR: District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Ahmed visited the Kohistan Mining Project site, underscoring the importance of security for foreign personnel.
In light of the prevailing security landscape, the DPO stressed the need for enhancing security arrangements.During his visit to the Kohistan site of the mining project and its residential camp, DPO Waqar Ahmed reviewed the security arrangements.
He was accompanied by SDPO Circle Kohistan Shafiq Shifa, SHO Sheringal Nusherwan Khan, and SHO Patrak Ejaz Khan.The SDPO Kohistan circle briefed the DPO on the security situation concerning foreign nationals. In response, DPO Waqar Ahmed issued directives to Kohistan Circle and the security personnel overseeing the mining project, emphasising the paramount importance of ensuring the safety of foreigners.Addressing the security personnel, Waqar Ahmed reiterated the need for heightened alertness in the current security environment.
