Yasmin Rashid shifted to Services Hospital
LAHORE: The jailed leader of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Dr Yasmin Rashid has been shifted to Services Hospital after being unwell and fainted at Kot Lakhpat Jail on Wednesday.
The jail officials said Dr Yasmin Rashid's blood pressure shot up due to extreme heat, and she fell unconscious. She had been vomiting for the last 24 hours. Due to extreme heat, Inspector General Jails also ordered to install air coolers in Kot Lakhpat Jail. Dr Yasmin Rashid is undergoing preliminary medical examination at Services Hospital and various diagnostic tests, including X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound have been conducted. After the tests, she was again shifted to the emergency ward. The hospital administration informed that Dr Yasmin Rashid was suffering from stomach and abdominal pain. 'More tests are being taken. She will remain under observation in the hospital for the next 24 hours,' the hospital administration informed.
