PQGTL appoints new CEO
KARACHI: Pak-Qatar General Takaful Limited, a leading Shariah-compliant general takaful provider, appointed Saqib Zeeshan as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, a statement said on Wednesday
Zeeshan brings over 20 years of experience in takaful, insurance, and health services, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation. He previously served as a founding member of Pak-Qatar Family Takaful and held senior positions at Salaam Takaful, The Indus Health Network, and other renowned organizations.
"I am committed to continue serving our customers with improved experiences and leading PQGTL to even greater heights. We will continue to offer innovative and Shariah-compliant General Takaful solutions that provide financial protection to our customers and deliver greater value," Zeeshan said. "I look forward to working with our talented team to drive growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Taking this opportunity would also like to thank the Board of Directors for having reposed confidence in me to lead PQGT."Zeeshan's appointment follows the departure of former CEO Zahid Hussain Awan, who was credited with shaping the company's foundation.
