Girls school reopens in Waziristan after restoration

MIRANSHAH: The only girls’ school in Shawa tehsil of North Waziristan, which had fallen victim to a subversive act, has been restored and reopened for academic activities.
The girls’ school in Shawa had been destroyed by unidentified people using explosive materials on the 9th of this month.Following media coverage, the federal government dispatched a special team to inspect the damaged private primary school for girls. According to the school’s principal Bahadur Khan, the reconstruction of the affected classrooms was completed with the federal government assistance.
