PM to visit UAE next week
PM Shehbaz will undertake an official visit to UAE next week on the invitation of UAE President
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next week on the invitation of UAE President Muhammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
The schedule is being worked out through diplomatic channels by Islamabad and Abu Dhabi. The important visit will take place before the prime minister’s trip to China that also is being scheduled and likely to take place in early June.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, federal ministers dealing with economy and a delegation of businessmen will accompany the prime minister to the UAE.
UAE Ambassador in Pakistan Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi has returned to the UAE for assisting in fine-tuning arrangements for Shehbaz’s visit. Pakistan’s Ambassador in the UAE Syed Faisal Niaz Tirmizi has told this scribe that the visit would be beneficial for both the countries.
