Rawalpindi: Providing public health facilities for the growing population in the country is no less than a challenge, dental diseases also require careful treatment, the number of dental colleges and hospitals has also increased in the last few years across the country. It has happened, but unfortunately some colleges lack the required quality facilities. Steps should be taken for post-graduation facilities in dental surgery. Vacancies of dental doctors and surgeons should be created in hospitals, as it is becoming difficult to get a job to complete dental education. And focus on addressing the concerns of the youth so that their anxiety can be alleviated, says a press release.
These views were expressed by the former provincial minister of Health and Population Dr. Jamal Nasir as a special guest at the ‘Dental School Camp’ organised under the auspices of ‘SJ Dental and Skin Hospital’ and ‘SJ School of Dentistry and Aesthetics’ Islamabad. Addressing the ceremony, Brigadier (r) Javed Iqbal Cheema, MD of the clinic said that there are a large number of dental hospitals and colleges across the country, but most of the institutions do not have modern facilities.
