SBCA razes 20 illegal structures as crackdown continues
The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) on Monday demolished over 20 structures in different parts of the city during its ongoing operations against illegal constructions.
Officials stated that the SBCA had launched a series of operations against illegal constructions across various areas of the city. The SBCA demolition team, led by Director Demolition Abdul Sajjad Khan, conducted operations against illegal constructions in Farhan Cooperative Society on Plot No 54, spanning 1000 square yards, as well as in Mehmoodabad on various plots, and in Gulberg and Jamshed Town on different locations.
Additionally, illegal portions and constructions were demolished in Liaquatabad. The DG of the Sindh Building Control Authority, Abdul Rasheed Solangi, highlighted the initiative to eradicate illegal constructions, with complaint cells established for all districts of the city. He emphasised strict oversight by SBCA officers in their respective areas.
